Nelly Bourlion is a biodiversity expert from France with an engineering diploma in Agronomy and a MSc. in Economy. She has been working in international project management for several years. She works as a consultant for the FAO FLRM providing technical assistance to national teams and developping projects in various countries. She previously has worked as a Biodiversity and Forest Ecosystem Program Officer at Plan Bleu, a regional activity center of UNEP/MAP where she managed numerous projects in the Mediterranean, one of which in partnership with ETC-UMA. She also has worked for the GEF performance evaluation team in Washington DC on evaluation of environmental projects focused on biodiversity protection.
