ETC-UMA renews collaboration with Interreg Volunteer Youth

ETC-UMA has launched a new call to host two volunteers in Malaga for 6 months through the EU Interreg Volunteer Youth programme:

1. One enthusiastic volunteer will support the EU ENI CBC MED funded project “ENhancing Socio-Ecological RESilience in Mediterranean coastal areas – ENSERES”, that aims to improve the socio-ecological resilience of vulnerable areas and local economies for boosting long term sustainability. The volunteer will carry out the following activities and tasks:

  • Assist the international team in project implementation activities in particular in activities under WP2 communication and WP1 project management;
  • Help produce contents and visuals for project promotion via social media and the project website;
  • Support the organisation and coordination of project events and online workshops;
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to events and project reporting activities.

2. The second one will support the Interreg Mediterranean co-funded project “Mediterranean Biodiversity Protection Community – MBPC”, that aims to bring together key public and private players in a Mediterranean community of nature conservation actors to mainstream management efforts for environmental sustainability and increasing the impact of biodiversity protection projects towards common identified strategic targets. In this case, the proactive volunteer will carry out the following activities and tasks:

  • Support the MBPC project coordinator and team in community building, communication and supporting actions to further the outreach of the project;
  • Assist the international team in project implementation activities;
  • Support the organization and coordination of project events and online workshops;
  • Help produce contents and visuals for project promotion via social media and the
    project websites;
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to event and project reporting activities.
